Retail Security Officers
In addition to our Manned Guarding Services we also offer Security Officers for the retail sector, our Retail Officers are carefully selected and given additional training in Law (theft & public order), Health and Safety Training and also CCTV training.
Riber Security understands the need for Security Officers to not just chase criminals but to also undertake a range of other duties including:
Health and Safety - Checks of the premises safety including any tripping hazards or unsafe working practices.
Searching - A large percentage of retail theft is from internal thefts, we train our Officers in body and bag searching.
Report Compiling - Riber Security understands that, in budget terms Security can be seen as 'dead' money with this in mind we ensure all our Retail Officers compile reports based on thefts and incidents, these are then displayed either as figures or in graph form.
Our Retail staff are also encouraged to work with other Security Officers or External agencies that may work in and around the premises, for example Shopwatch schemes, The Police/PCSO's.
We believe that a professional Security Officer can often act as a viable deterrent to potential shoplifters and we subsequently ensure our Retail Officers meet this level of professionalism.
Our Service Delivery is checked directly by our Senior Management each month and any non conformity would be corrected to your satisfactory outcome.
